Only 4 years old, this youngster, JH, accidentally fell out of a three-story window in his family's new apartment; the child-window guards had not been put up yet. He broke an arm, BUT also lost hearing in one ear due to a bone dislocation in the middle ear. Amazingly there were no other injuries.

The dislocated incus bone was removed, and his incus was sculpted with the microdrill.

The sculpted incus bone was re-set between the malleus and the stapes bones.
